Nintendo brings Legend of Zelda themed Escape Room experience to Europe

The experience will let guests interact with classic items and characters seen in The Legend of Zelda series such as the Goron, Zora and Kokiri tribes.

Nintendo has partnered with the popular escape room experience designers, SCRAP to bring a multi-city Puzzle Tour inspired by The Legend of Zelda to Europe.

The concept – inspired by the popular Nintendo franchise – will launch across Barcelona, Paris, London and Cologne later this year.

Titled Defenders of the Triforce, the initiative has been billed as ‘so much more’ than the popular escape room concept, challenging participants to work in teams of six to solve a mystery in a ‘huge area’ set with a time limit.

The experience will let guests interact with classic items and characters seen in The Legend of Zelda series such as the Goron, Zora and Kokiri tribes.

Items can be used to solve puzzles and move forward into other areas, like in The Legend of Zelda games.

“We wanted to make sure Defenders of the Triforce felt as authentic as possible,” said Doc Preuss, real escape game producer for SCRAP.

“Fans of The Legend of Zelda series will adore the tour and won’t want to miss it.”

The sold out tour has already spanned 15 cities across the US and Canada.

The game gallows players to assume the role of the franchise’s lead character Link and explore, battle and survive in the vast world inspired by Hyrule.
