Paladone Products is celebrating after its Tetris Light picked up a gong at the Gift of the Year awards.
The product - which is composed of seven individual lights which can be stacked in endless combinations - won in the Branded/Character category at the annual event, which was held at Spring Fair earlier this month.
The Tetris Light is also due to be featured in a permanent video games exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
"Winning Branded/Character category at the Gift of the Year Awards 2013 is a fantastic accomplishment and the culmination of months of work to bring this fun and truly innovative product to market," said Paladone's Graeme Carr. "Our partnership with Blue Planet Software, licensors for Tetris, has created many opportunities to bring Tetris gaming fun to giftware, of which the Tetris Light is the crowning achievement."
