Poeticgem is to develop a new range of nightwear based on the retro video game classic Pac-Man.
The apparel specialist will produce the clothing range based on the iconic character after signing a deal with Namco Bandai Games.
Pac-Man became the world's highest grossing video game in history when the character first hit arcades in 1980.
The classic yellow figure has enjoyed success that has stretched into TV, music and merchandising and now with new licensee Poeticgem, it launches into the adult nightwear market.
"Pac-Man is probably the most instantly recognisable video game character of all time so it is tremendously exciting to have signed this agreement," said Elliot Matthews of Poeticgem.
"We will be putting together a range that utilises the game's iconic imagery to great effect and will have huge retro appeal."
The Pac-Man range arrives as a further addition to Poeticgem's line in retro nightwear as a Space Invaders collection was announced earlier this month.
