PopCap grows global reach of Plants vs. Zombies

The mobile gaming firm has appointed Alicom and Exim to represent the popular brand in the Nordics and Brazil.

Mobile gaming property Plants vs. Zombies is growing its licensing family with two new global licensing agents.

PopCap Games, a division of Electronic Arts has appointed Alicom and Exim to represent the Plants vs. Zombies brand across the Nordics and Brazil, respectively.

Alicom Licensing has already laid the groundwork for a wide range of brands throughout the Nordics, while Exim is an expert in developing licensing, promotions, merchandising, entertainment, TV and stage shows opportunities in Brazil.

“We are incredibly excited to announce that we have signed Alicom Licensing to represent us in the Nordics and Exim in Brazil,” said Alicia Brattin, licensing director, Plants vs. Zombies franchise.

“Global expansion is a very important part of our strategy as we grow the brand. We look forward to working with Alicom and Exim to develop fun and innovative programmes that represent our unique brand and prove to the world that a zombie on your lawn isn’t a bad thing.”
