Animal welfare charity RSPCA has partnered with app provider Jeego to produce a range of branded Facebook content.
A limited range of Facebook cover photos, available now, and e-cards, due later this year, will launch based on the RSPCA ‘Harmony’ style, which features a woodcut print look from the charity’s recent style guide.
Facebook cover photos sit at the top of a user’s profile page, while the animated e-cards are 10 to 15 seconds long and feature music. They are sent to the user’s mobile phone from the Jeego ecards iPhone app.
The core market for these products is females aged 14 to 30, but the RSPCA says this extends to ‘most ages and both sexes’.
The RSPCA’s licensing manager Cathy Snow said: “Jeego has adapted the RSPCA Harmony style to these very on-trend apps in an original and attractive way. Not only are they great to look at and send, but their sale and distribution will contribute to the RSPCA’s fund-raising and raise awareness of our efforts to help animals.”
Jeego CEO Will Walsh added: “In the online design market it’s important to stand out, and these Harmony illustrations have a clear dual appeal – to animal-loving and style-aware Facebook and e-card users. We are delighted to be working with the RSPCA in an exciting partnership that will have a strong presence in the market and will boost animal welfare.”
The RSPCA is looking at, or has already signed, deals in apparel, giftware, toys, housewares, stationery, publishing, pet food, wild animal food and pet accessories.
