Slither.io game adds new licenses

A host of new products based on the hit game will hit the market next year.

Achieving more than 150 million downloads to date, the hit family-friendly game, slither.io, launched an app update allowing players to "Build a Slither.” The update features new skins plus the ability for fans to design their own slither skin. Named the Top Trending Game of 2016 by Google Play, slither.io remains a leading free action game app on both Android and iOS. Created by Lowtech Studios, LLC, slither.io continues to thrill fans worldwide with more than 80 million plays every day.

New licensees across a variety of consumer product categories continue to join the company’s growing stable of partners. Lisa Berlin-Wright of Tie-In-Pro, the exclusive licensing agency for slither.io, brokered the deals. New licensees and products for the family-friendly game include: Party City and Amscan – To introduce a line of slither.io party goods, balloons, and costumes, Accessory Innovations - Offers a collection of backpacks, lunch bags, luggage, headwear, and cold weather accessories, Aquarius – Will develop and introduce a slither.io card game, Franco Manufacturing – Will create home textiles, including bedding, beach towels, bedding and throws.

The new licensees join current licensees Bonkers Toys, Just Toys Int., Fifth Sun, Everything Legwear, and Trends.

"With the current licensed toys and collectables doing extremely well at major retailers, we are excited to bring new products to slither.io fans and the retail market,” said Berlin-Wright of Tie-In-Pro.
