Endemol UK Consumer Products is teaming with Mindscape for a video game version of the BBC1 TV hit Total Wipeout.

The Ultimate Red Ball Challenge will be released on Nintendo's Wii system on November 6th. Using the Wii remote and nunchuk, players will be able to experience the wobbles, thrills and spills of Total Wipeout first hand, tackling the Qualifier, Dizzy Dummies and the big red balls.

As well as playing the normal version of the show, users can also create their own courses, unlocking more obstacles and games along the way. There is a single player mode, as well as multiplayer option for up to three people.

"Viewers at home can finally attempt the most talked about obstacle on Total Wipeout - the Big Red Balls challenge," said Seema Khan, head of consumer products at Endemol UK. "We have worked closely with Mindscape on every detail of the Total Wipeout course to reflect the set as seen on TV and to create a game that the whole family can enjoy."

Mark Stanger, UK general manager at Mindscape, added: "It's great to work with the Endemol team again in bringing all of the excitement and thrills of the Total Wipeout TV show to the Nintendo Wii this Christmas. The Ultimate Red Ball Challenge represents the cornerstone of our As Seen on TV range of games."
