Videogaming and makeup worlds collide in Resident Evil 2 x Mehron collab

Bits and Pixels Agency has detailed a unique brand collaboration between Capcom’s survival horror game Resident Evil 2 and the Special FX makeup specialist, Mehron to bring a new Hollywood makeup experience to gaming fans.

Available to gamers throughout Europe, Australia, and North America, Mehron’s Resident Evil 2 Zombie All-Pro Makeup Kits will allow fans to recreate the Racoon City zombies from the hit franchise and the remake that topped the videogame charts earlier this year.

Mehron is recognised as a leader in professional makeup for over 90 years and its products are used on major runway, stage and movie sets around the world.

Sandra Arcan, co-director of Bits and Pixels, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing this collaboration to the huge Resident Evil fan base; no matter your experience with makeup, this is an amazing product which will let you create your very own, high impact, zombie look.

“It’s also a fantastic platform for both brands to enjoy significant incremental reach into the vast arenas of gaming and cosmetics.”

Peter Sandusky, VP at Mehron, added: “This collaboration opportunity had us instantly intrigued; not only the appeal of creating something truly special within the world of videogames, but also the very compelling prospect of engaging cosplayers, influencers, and all-round enthusiasts of both makeup and gaming in a very unique way.”
