Warner Bros and NetherRealm celebrate 80 years of Superman in mobile game Injustice 2

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios are celebrating Superman’s 80 anniversary by adding the classic character to its popular mobile game, Injustice 2.

The new character takes inspiration from Superman’s first appearance in Action Comics, paying homage to his first appearance 80 years ago.

The anniversary celebration is supplemented throughout, in a special in-game event in which Classic Superman invades the popular game mode, The Arena, for a limited time. Players have the chance to receive Hero Shards if they defeat him.

Injustice 2 for mobile is developed by the award-winning development team at NetherRealm Studios and pits iconic DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains head-to-head in three-on-three fighting action.

Injustice 2 for mobile is available for free on the App Store for iPad and iPhone and on Google Play for Android devices.
