Warner Bros. details fashion forward focus for Looney Tunes

No strangers to the world of fashion, the Looney Tunes have stepped up their efforts in haute couture, thanks to a roster of new collaborations.

From high end to high street, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and Tweety continue to find themselves the focus of fashion in partnerships procured by Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

Earlier this year, Moschino’s Looney Tunes collection made its debut at Milan Fashion Week in February with a product line featuring 90s-inspired street wear such as jumpers, joggers and leather bomber jackets.

Each were emblazoned with images of the iconic Looney Tunes characters including Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Sylvester, Taz and more.

The collection also includes a range of matching accessories including phone cases, wallets as well as bags, boots, flats and high heels.

‘Loved by critics, celebrity influencers and consumers alike, the success of the collection was underpinned not only by the great, innovative designs from Jeremy Scott, but also by Moschino’s dedication to promotion via social media and highly visual physical store experiences in its London, LA, Milan and Rome flagships,’ read a statement from the firm.

Fashion retailers across Europe are also seeing success with Looney Tunes, market leaders including H&M, Zara. Oviesse and French lingerie label Undiz have Looney Tunes apparel collections across a wide variety of garments for women.

‘This is evidence that the brand plays across all age groups and reaches far beyond children,’ continued Warner Bros.

Meanwhile, other brand collaborations including Jordan Brand, demonstrate the flexibility and mass appeal of sports apparel.

Taking the brand full family and utilising the playful characteristics of Looney Tunes characters to promote an active lifestyle, this partnership was developed in two waves.

The Hare Jordan collection, featuring Bugs Bunny debuted in May and was followed by a second collection starring Marvin the Martian for Fall 2015.
