Warner Bros developing a Speedy Gonzales movie

Warner Bros is developing an animated Speedy Gonzales movie.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that Eugenio Derbez is in talks to voice the Looney Tunes icon.

Speedy Gonzales was first seen in an animated short in 1955 and is known for his oversized sombrero and ¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba! catchphrase.

Dylan Sellers, producer of the Footloose remake, will produce Speedy Gonzales, along with Derbez and Ben Odell.
