Warner Bros is partnering with the entertainment group Legendary to bring a two-storey pop-up Pokémon event to London’s Covent Garden.
Called Pokémon Detective Pikachu pop-up, the venue is designed to promote the cinematic release of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu in the UK this May.
The venue will open its doors on May 3rd and 4th, ahead of the film’s UK release on May 10th this year.
According to Campaign, the ground floor will offer visitors a number of photo opportunities set against a backdrop of yellow walls, while fans will be able to sip on a Detective Pikachu coffee, hot chocolate, yellow turmeric lattes or yellow bubble tea.
The lower floor will be decked out to mirror the neon style of the film’s Ryme City with booths that will allow visitors to partake in a few rounds of karaoke or visit nail art stands provided by Wah Nails.
The pop-up will also host a number of workshops tied to the film, including yoga sessions, Pikachu cupcake-icing lessons, Psyduck-inspired head and neck massages, and Mr Mime-inspired mime classes.
