Warner Bros Consumer Products has signed a raft of licensed publishing deals for the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The studio has secured new partnerships with HarperCollins, Scholastic and Insight Editions to produce a range of new titles inspired by events set in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.
Scholastic has signed a multi year global publishing deal for books based on the upcoming film, including movie tie-in books for Fantastic Beasts and its sequels, as well as tie-in books based on the original Harry Potter films.
HarperCollins will deliver a line of adult tie-in titles delving behind the scenes of Fantastic Beasts and featuring interviews with the cast and filmmakers.
Meanwhile, long-time publisher of books about the Harry Potter film franchise, Insight Editions has acquired the rights to a global publishing programme based on the wizarding world of J.K. Rowling, including novelty titles.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will hit cinemas from November 18th this year.
