Former London 2012 man becomes licensing director at costume jewellery and hair accessories firm.

Warren Traeger takes new role at Icon Live

Former London 2012 licensing executive, Warren Traeger has joined Icon Live in the newly created role of licensing director.

Traeger spent nearly four years at London 2012, working on the toy and gift side of the licensing programme, while he has also spent time doing consultancy projects under Love Licensing.

At Icon Live, he will spearhead a new licensing division focused on building the company’s portfolio of brands and licences for both its concession and wholesale business.

Icon Live holds licences for Disney, Hello Kitty Liberty and Mr Men & Little Miss, as well as fashion brands Oasis, French Connection and Lipsy. It operates concessions in over 3,500 stores in the UK and Central Europe.

"I am delighted and excited to be joining the Icon Live team," said Traeger. "The product category is fun and diverse with enormous opportunity for growth, and the team is truly dynamic and enthusiastic about what they do. Developing its licensing business is a priority for Icon Live and I look forward to playing a key role in driving this forward."

Dominic Galvin, CEO, added: "We are delighted to have Warren joining our team. His experience in the licensing sector and range management skills are aligned to our core value of responsibly delivering innovative fashion accessory solutions for leading brands that excite consumers around the world."
