Hit children’s series Wild Kratts is expanding its international reach with a raft of new licensing deals across Australia.
9 Story Media has secured a new broadcast partner for the animated series in Channel Nine’s Go Channel where it will begin airing on weekdays from November 14th and Saturday and Sundays from November 21st.
Meanwhile, Roadshow Entertainment has picked up the home video rights while master toy licensee Wicked Cool toys has appointed Hunter Products to distribute its toy line.
Now in its fourth season, Wild Kratts was created and developed by the real life brothers and zoologists, Martin and Chris Kratt who star in the show as animated versions of themselves.
Season four of Wild Kratts includes 26 episodes which will begin rolling out in the US on PBS Kids later this year.
The series currently airs in over 1870 countries across 18 different languages with broadcast partners including Discovery Kids, Super RTL, TV3 and Canal Panda.
Last year, Wicked Cool toys launched a broad toy offering at Toys R Us, including creature power suits, action figures, talking plush and vehicle sets.
By popular demand, the toy line has since rolled out to Kmart and Target retailers within the US.
