Wildlife artist Bree Merryn prepares product launch with East West and The Point. 1888

The acclaimed Yorkshire-based wildlife artist, Bree Merryn is readying to launch a new range of products next month, thanks to a partnership between licensee East West and The Point.1888.

The new collections have been created in conjunction with East West and will include china mugs, stationery, fridge magnets, keyrings and gift bags, all featuring Bree’s popular and most-admired artwork.

East West is a UK based giftware supplier which creates gifting and special occasion products based around its philosophy of unique design, excellent quality and affordable pricing.

Designed to appeal to lovers of wildlife and fine art, the range will go live in UK retail stores from mid June 2019, and pre-sales are already flooding in. Bree’s ranges of artwork and textiles are already stocked by over 500 stores in the UK and Ireland, including gift shops and garden centres.

Bree’s licensing agency, The Point.1888, takes a retailer first model which it applies to the growing brand partnerships it facilitates. It’s a strategy that helped the outfit quickly establish a strengthening reputation as an innovator in the licensing space. The team underwent a thorough product development process to ensure that the end result was both of high quality and affordable, as well as appealing to a wider range of consumers.

Will Stewart, managing director of The Point.1888, said: “Bree has achieved and maintained a huge retail presence in the last few years and I’m confident that buyers will be delighted to extend their Bree collections to include these new additions.”

Commenting on the launch, Barry Minal, MD of Bree Merryn, added: “We have enjoyed tremendous success with our existing ranges and wanted to extend our product offer to appeal to our existing and new retail customers.

“In East West, we were delighted to find a partner who appreciated Bree’s artwork and could closely replicate the images onto a range of high quality complimentary products. By working with The Point.1888 and East West we have achieved this and more.”
