Rainbow’s Winx Club is celebrating as its new app tops the digital charts across the globe, following its release in May.
Winx Sirenix Power – produced by social gaming company, Tsumanga – was released in Russian, English and Italian versions in Spring and has already recorded over 1,000,000 downloads.
The app also features among the most popular apps in many categories for kids in Russia, while it received the accolade of top new app in the US, UK, Spain, Australia, Philippines, Brazil, Italy, Germany, France and Turkey.
Tsumanga will be upgrading the app with new content over the next six months, preceding the launch of a new Winx Club multiplayer game, due for release this Christmas.
The new app is predicted to boost the property’s licensing programme which includes DVDs, tis, apparel, publishing and food.
Series six of the girl’s TV show, and a new Winx Club movie is set for launch in 2014.
