Zag, Method Animation and Planeta Junior join forces for five new animated series

Zag, MethodAnimation and Planeta Junior have joined forces for a new co-production deal on the development of five major animated series’ on the ZagHeroez label. Following the global success of Miraculous Ladybug – Tales of Cat Noir, the new series have promised to bring "empowerment, action-packed adventures and excitement to new audiences."

The first collaboration will come in the form of Power Players – a hybrid animated series about a team of secret heroes formed by a little boy and his toys. Next up is Pixigirl, an animated series about a super-heroine with the supernatural powers of Mother Nature, battling the tyrannical rule of evil witches in New York.

Planeta Junior will manage the licensing programs of the Zag Heroez properties, including Zak Storm in all Planeta Junior territories. Planeta Junior has also extended the partnership in consumer products with ZAG in Southern, Center and Eastern Europe, due in large part to the success of Miraculous Ladybug.
