Zodiak Kids has appointed three new licensing agents for its Totally Spies property.
Limo Licensing will manage the rights in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland – where the whole franchise (including the latest season six) was acquired by Nickelodeon. Earlier seasons aired in the territory on Fox Kids and local channels TV4, MTV3 and TV2.
Meanwhile, TL Corp has snapped up the rights for the Republic of Korea, where the series has had wide exposure across several platforms.
Finally, IMC Licensing will represent the rights in the key South American territories of Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia. All seasons – one to six – have been acquired by Cartoon Network Latin America.
"We are delighted to welcome these new licensing agents to our global network," said Patricia de Wilde, SVP, Zodiak Kids CP, Paris. "Together with the new season six of Totally Spies, and the consistent performance of seasons one to five over the last ten years, our licensing partners have helped us make Totally Spies into a classic, evergreen brand, beloved the world over."
The new season six brings the total number of episodes to 156 and has already been sold to Nickelodeon, Disney, Teletoon, DeA Kids and MBC.
