New pre-school show, Tickety Toc, will be available on even more screens from the spring as Zodiak Kids partners with Cupcake Digital to bring the characters of Tickety Toc to life via story experience apps.
A total of 12 apps are slated for development and will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Barnes & Noble on the iOS, Android, NOOK and Kindle Fire platforms for smartphones and tablets.
“Tickety Toc’s great storytelling is the perfect foundation for creating engaging, educational and high-quality story experiences,” said Susan Miller, president of Cupcake Digital. “As more parents share their smartphones and tablets with their kids, they will now be able to connect with Tickety Toc and experience a show they love in a whole new way."
The integrated team at Cupcake Digital is known for creating digital, interactive deluxe story app experiences featuring three modes of reading, professional narration designed to help kids recognize words and sound as well as providing learning games that follow Common Core Curriculum Standards, bold and colorful interactions that surprise and delight, and a Grown-Up’s Corner designed for shared screen time and guided conversation.
The deal was brokered by US licensing agent, Established Brands and Canadian licensing agent, Studio Licensing, on behalf of Zodiak Kids. Consumer products will launch in the autumn led by master toy partner, Just Play, and Home Entertainment partner, Anchor Bay Entertainment.

Tickety Toc debuted on Nick Jr. in October 2012. The show airs 7 days a week and has been a ratings success since launch.
